I joined onto Sam's 12 week course last March when he started them and I haven’t looked back!
The 12 week course started just around the time of the first lockdown and it could not have been better timing for me. I was already motivated as wanted to improve my fitness but the course gave me something to focus on. With Sam checking in and monitoring everything thing I was doing I felt more determined, it really made me keep on top of doing the workouts knowing Sam was tracking it!
No query or problem was too much trouble for Sam, always ready to help with an alternative exercise if I struggled with something or tips on how to improve things.
I had a problem with pain in my neck for weeks before the course, asked Sam for advice and before I knew it a simple tennis ball and some instruction via video call with Sam and it soon felt better.
Sam is really motivational and keeps me focused. I have seen great changes in myself since joining the courses and highly recommend them and Sam to everyone! Its not just the exercises that Sam has helped with, he keeps me checking on my steps to move more (really important with working at home on a laptop currently!), helps with nutrition, and gives positive feedback on progress along with helping reach the next goal plus much more.
The course has been amazing, not just for my fitness but for my general wellbeing, when I know its a workout day I’m more focused and positive through everything that I do.

I have always found it hard to stick to a training regime with my job and found it difficult to motivate myself to go to the gym.

Training with Sam
I have always thought of myself as healthy, even when I was eating unhealthy food and smoking. I was always an underweight person, at the age of 30 I weighed 69-70kg but began getting a 'Daddy' belly.
2 years ago I saw a picture of Sam on Facebook, I noticed an amazing transformation in his physique. I became curious as to whether I could do this so I contacted Sam to book a consultation.
It's been 2 years and I now weigh between 76-78kg. My eating habits are much better, my stomach is flat, my shoulders are broad and my arms are more defined. Sam has taken me through all of it step by step, guiding me through each session and helped me beat my targets.
My strength has improved dramatically, I'm now an ex-smoker and working with Sam to achieve my next set of goals.
Sam makes sure I am safe whilst pushing me at the same time and clearly explains the benefits with each exercise. I can't thank him enough for all the gains I have achieved.
Online training with Sam has been perfect for me, as I don’t live locally.
It’s also been great, as I have equipment at home which he has specifically engineered a personalized programme around what I have and what I want to achieve.
I was never personally comfortable going to a gym, and so this has worked out perfectly for me, enjoying working out and gaining confidence in my own space.
I love the aspect of ticking off each work out and feeling like I’m working towards my goals.
Sam also sends updates and we speak one to one, so you’re never left on your own.
The videos of how to achieve the correct form on each exercise is a huge help.

Weight loss goal
Originally I came to Sam with the goal of losing fat/toning up, as my gym sessions were boring, ineffective and I didn't really know what I was doing. With a personalised training plan he introduced me to weight training, and through tough, yet fun sessions he has really pushed me to achieve above and beyond my goals. He is friendly, supportive and kind, and I always walk away from each session with a feeling of accomplishment. Sam has helped me gain not only strength and muscle, but so much confidence in myself, and knowledge. Would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of getting a PT to get in touch. I approached Sam initially as wanted to start lifting weights safely and correctly to gain muscle and tone up. I lacked knowledge in weight training which meant my gym visits were boring and consisted of mainly cardio and lacked any structure. As well as wanting to tone up and get in better shape, I wanted a PT to help motivate me and see what I could personally achieve. Every session I have with Sam are guaranteed to push me but that’s why I’ve seen results! He has given me so much more confidence and knowledge that I now plan my own sessions around when I train with Sam to keep things interesting and keep me on plan. Sam has been my PT for just over a year and is one of the friendliest, down to earth people you will meet in the gym!
